A touching Christmas story from the World of Warcraft:

One of the funniest ads that I've seen targeted to the gaming crowd:
Monday night I have enlisted the aid of my guildmates from Allied Tribal Forces to assist me in doing something that is long overdue. That something is getting my elite mount, the [item]Dreadsteed of Xoroth[/item]. One nice thing about warlocks is that we get discounts on our mounts. In fact, the first one at level 40 comes free! The catch is the quests are fairly elaborate and involved.
So we'll be heading into scholomance and dire maul to complete two of my final quests for the [item]Dreadsteed of Xoroth[/item] and I'll finally be able to keep up with people on the ground. Still no flying mount until I hit level 70
Grinded away all day today and got the remaining 60% of the xp needed to level Zsuzsu, my gnome warlock, to level 64 finally. I have the timing down again that is needed to grind away at mobs without hardly any rest so it's basically grabbing all the quests in a certain area of a map and killing stuff until complete. Rinse and repeat.
I took the time to head into Terokkar Forest and get set up there with new quests, make an inn there my home, and head back to get my skill training. I'll be ready to continue the push to level 70 shortly so that I can actually quest with my guildmates once again when the next WoW expansion comes out.
This is a shot of me playing World of Warcraft the other night. Stephanie was making fun of me because she walked into the room asking "Who are you talking to?" I replied that I was chatting with my guildmates from Allied Tribal Forces. Yes, I like to play video games with a bunch of other semi-middle-aged social misfits and actually talk to them at the same time!
I don't really know what's so funny or weird about this. I've been doing it my entire life and don't plan on stopping. Some people quilt or paint to relax. I kill demons for fun. So what?
