Finally took the time to get this blog back up and running. This time though I’m hosting it myself from the house using our iMac. Wait, did you hear me correctly? Yep, you can indeed set up your normal Mac as a webserver if you have decent upstream bandwidth from your ISP.
The downside to this is that since I also sometimes boot that machine into Windows to play certain games then the site will be inaccessible. I think a small price to pay for the cost savings over even a cheap shared hosting plan.
